Chair of the Board of Trustees
Trustee Board Ministry is entrusted with the preservation, maintenance and securing of all church property. They are responsible for providing an adequate place for worship and to maintain order and decorum in the church. The Trustee Board is to take charge of care, maintenance and security of all church properties.
The Trustee Board is to initiate necessary improvements to the church and maintain order and the proper decorum to be observed throughout God’s house of worship.
This person is responsible for the oversight of the Trustees.
Roy Harvey
Chair of the Board of Stewards
The Stewards are responsible for taking an exact account and depositing funds into the proper financial institutions on behalf of the church. Further, this Board along with the Treasurer will assure that they maintain the financial compliance in our church.
The Steward Board is to be accountable to make an exact accounting of all tithes, offerings and contributions made to the church, with/through the Treasurer.
This person is responsible for the oversight of the Stewards.
The Steward Board is to ensure the stewardship and distribution of the church resources to edify the congregation, provide support to the Pastor, his family, and provide relief for the needy & distressed members of the church.
Kisha Buskey
Church Secretary
Church secretary oversees the operation of the church office and assists the pastors and staff with a variety of administrative duties.
Chorlia Pettway
Class Leader of Leaders
In the AME Zion Church Class Leaders are an integral part of keeping members connected to the church. Each Class Leader is responsible for the spiritual needs of the church's membership. "They provide advice, reprove, comfort, or exhort as occasion may require" (AME Zion Discipline, 113). It is their job to ask, "How does your soul fare today?"
This person is responsible for the oversight of the Class Leaders.
